A hotel with a vision for the future! As a sustainable business, Hampshire Hotel Avenarius is certified with the Green Key certificate. With this, we take our responsibility for nature and the environment seriously, without you having to compromise on comfort. The certificate has three levels: bronze, silver, and gold. The more environmental measures a leisure business has implemented, the higher the ‘environmentally friendly’ level.

Sustainable Goals

This is a well-known international eco-label for sustainable businesses in the hotel and leisure industry. With this label, you can see that we are a step more conscious about nature and the environment than what normal laws and regulations require. Corporate social responsibility is also very important to us.

Our Measures
In practice, this means that we have found a good balance between sustainable business practices and comfort. Unknowingly, during your stay, you will help us achieve our goals, without experiencing any inconvenience. For example, energy-efficient lighting is used throughout the building. We also take climate control into strong consideration, so you won’t feel too hot or too cold. You will also find electric charging points for your electric vehicle in our parking lot. During your visit, you may also use the water-saving taps in our building, all without even noticing it.

Hotels for Trees
We proudly collaborate with the Hotels for Trees Foundation. The Hotels for Trees Foundation makes a tangible contribution to a greener hotel industry, planting one new tree for every day a guest chooses to skip room cleaning.
